All X-ray examinations require a clinical referral. A Private GP will review your information and, if appropriate, issue a referral letter within 24 hours.

A £49 self-referral assessment fee is required before booking. A Private GP will review your clinical information and issue a referral letter (if appropriate) within 24 hours.
Home X-ray
The £49 fee is deducted from your Home X-ray appointment cost.
Clinic X-ray
The £49 fee is added on top of the clinic X-ray price and is non-refundable.
What happens after payment?
- 1A Private GP reviews your clinical information
- 2The GP may provide a telephone consultation for further information within 24 hours
- 3If appropriate, a referral letter is issued
- 4The referral is sent to you and to Radpid Diagnostics by email
- 5Once validated, your X-ray appointment is confirmed
Provisional appointment dates are available from 24 hours after payment to allow time for the referral to be issued. Your appointment can only be confirmed once the referral has been received and validated by Radpid Diagnostics.
