We provide a flexible alternative option to some institutions that have fixed assets and dedicated on-site team on daily basis but are potentially underutilised or redundant.
Our service provides an on-site X-ray department including equipment and trained staff to primary care centres, hospitals and healthcare providers within greater London for a pre-determined period.

Note that mobile X-ray services can be provided 7 days a week and with out-of-hour options available on prior request.
An X-ray is a quick and painless diagnostic test that uses small dose of radiation to take pictures of the inside of your body.
Your doctor or referring practitioner may send you for an x-ray if there is suspicion that you may have pain, trauma, or disease of certain body parts. Some examples of what can be detected on x-ray examinations are:
Foreign objects swallowed or lodged in the body etc.
All our X-ray scans are carried out by experienced, HCPC-registered Radiographers, to ensure you receive the highest level of care. All x-ray images are reported by registered radiologist or reporting radiographers and findings provided to the referring physician.
While X-rays show certain disease conditions or fractures, they are sometimes limited in what they can display. For example, muscles, blood vessels and ligaments do not show up very well on an X-ray scan, except if calcified.
However, this diagnostic tool is often the first imaging procedure recommended to patients who are complaining about pain, because the doctor will want to first rule out disease(s) that are apparent on x-rays.
If the X-ray is inconclusive, you may warrant further tests. Your doctor may recommend other investigations like ultrasound, CT scan or MRI.
There are small risks involved with X-rays, but X-rays are only used if the benefit to the patient outweighs the small risk involved.
If you think you might be pregnant, please inform us before your appointment.
The radiographer arrives at your home or abode on the appointment date and will position you for the X-ray. The radiographer will wear a lead apron and step back while taking the x-ray to avoid him or her being exposed. You will be asked to stay still and sometimes to take a deep breath in and hold it for a few seconds.
No special preparation except for plain light clothing of the region. However, please notify the radiographer if you are a woman who is or might be pregnant.
We require patient’s carer to be present at the time of the appointment. The carer will however step back with the radiographer during the milliseconds of x-ray exposure. The career may be offered a lead apron to wear and protect him/her from radiation if the patient is unable to maintain still during the investigation.
Also, children and minors or pets are not allowed within the vicinity of X-ray (controlled area).
No, the X-ray is not painful.
The process to taking the X-ray will last only a few seconds, but the radiographer may need to take further X-rays in different positions. Usually, the full examination takes approximately 10 minutes – multiple body parts may take longer.
The reporter, usually a consultant radiologist or reporting radiographer will read your X-ray images. Your referring doctor will receive the results within 24 hours of your exam being completed.
