Mobile Diagnostic Imaging · Events & Festivals
Radpid Diagnostics provides mobile medical X-ray services for large-scale festivals, high-risk sports events, and remote gatherings — delivering on-site chest and musculoskeletal imaging with rapid clinician-led reporting under IR(ME)R 2017 regulations.
When an injury occurs at a festival, sporting event, or remote gathering, rapid access to diagnostic imaging can be critical to patient outcomes. Radpid Diagnostics deploys portable digital X-ray equipment directly to your event medical station, enabling on-site chest and musculoskeletal imaging without the delays associated with hospital transfer.
Our HCPC-registered radiographers operate under IR(ME)R 2017 regulations, with all referrals reviewed and authorised by a Radpid Diagnostics clinician before any examination proceeds. Digital images are transmitted electronically for consultant radiologist-led reporting, with written reports issued rapidly to support the treating clinical team.
All examinations are performed under IR(ME)R 2017 regulations. Every referral — whether from an event medical officer, paramedic, or treating clinician — is reviewed and authorised by a Radpid Diagnostics clinician to confirm clinical justification before the examination proceeds.
A fully mobile, self-contained X-ray service designed for deployment in event medical environments.
On-site chest X-ray
Portable digital chest radiography at the event venue, enabling rapid assessment of thoracic trauma, pneumothorax, and respiratory presentations.
Musculoskeletal X-ray
Immediate on-site imaging of fractures, dislocations, and soft-tissue injuries sustained during high-risk sports events and physical activities.
Clinician-led reporting
All images are reviewed and reported by a consultant radiologist. Written reports are issued rapidly to support clinical decision-making at the event.
Rapid turnaround
Digital images are transmitted electronically immediately after acquisition, enabling same-session reporting and prompt patient management.
High-volume capacity
Our mobile units are configured for high-throughput environments. We can support multi-day festivals, large sporting fixtures, and extended remote deployments.
IR(ME)R 2017 compliance
Every examination is performed under IR(ME)R 2017 regulations. All referrals are reviewed and authorised by a Radpid Diagnostics clinician before any exposure proceeds.
We provide mobile X-ray services across a wide range of event types where on-site diagnostic imaging is a proportionate and necessary component of the medical plan.
Music festivals and outdoor events
Multi-day festivals with large attendee numbers, where on-site imaging reduces transfer delays and supports the medical team.
High-risk sports events
Motorsport, cycling, equestrian, combat sports, and contact sports where musculoskeletal and thoracic injuries are foreseeable.
Endurance and mass-participation events
Marathons, triathlons, ultra-distance events, and obstacle courses where medical cover must be proportionate to participant risk.
Remote and rural gatherings
Events in locations where hospital transfer times are extended, making on-site diagnostic imaging a critical component of the medical plan.
Sporting championships and fixtures
Professional and amateur sporting competitions requiring dedicated medical imaging provision as part of the event medical plan.
Corporate and private events
Large-scale private gatherings, air shows, and corporate events where comprehensive on-site medical services are required.
From pre-event planning through to clinical handover, our process is designed to integrate seamlessly with your event medical team.
Pre-event planning
We work with your event medical director or safety officer to assess imaging requirements, agree deployment logistics, and confirm IR(ME)R 2017 referral pathways before the event.
On-site deployment
A HCPC-registered radiographer attends the event with portable digital X-ray equipment. The unit is positioned within the medical treatment area for immediate access.
Examination and imaging
Chest and musculoskeletal X-rays are performed as clinically indicated, following authorisation by the referring clinician in accordance with IR(ME)R 2017.
Reporting and clinical handover
Digital images are transmitted electronically to our consultant radiologist. Written reports are issued rapidly and communicated directly to the treating clinician.
Our primary event medical X-ray coverage area is London, Kent, Surrey, and Essex. For planned events, we can deploy nationally across England and Wales. Early engagement allows us to confirm logistics, staffing, and IR(ME)R 2017 pathway arrangements well in advance of the event date.
